  • Downloading a document means that you will save a document to your own computer from the web server. (Moving one file from one computer to another.)
  • You can download an HTML file or an ASCII text file simply by choosing "Save As" under the FILE menu. Type in a filename (or use the one provided) and select a directory location on your own computer for the file.
  • You can download other files (termed "binary" - includes images, PDFs, Word 6.0 or other documents) by clicking on the link with the right mouse button. This will bring up a pop-up menu, choose "Save Target/Link As". Choosing "Save Target/Link As" will bring up the "Save As" Dialog box.
