Logistics
  • Every member of PASC will be able to add to the document register. The document entry form is located at http://www.pascnet.org/private/docreg_entry.asp. The user must fill out the information required in the form to create a record. Additionally, if there is an actual document associated with the information in that record, then the document may be uploaded from the user's computer to the PASCNET website. Upon addition of a new record to the PASCNET Documents Register, all PASC members will automatically receive an email notifying them of the new entry.

  • Each PASCNET member is responsible for maintaining the numbering system. The PASCNET Reference Number
system is shown in the Manual

  • The full list of PASCNET documents available on the web can be accessed by the general public. Clicking on an entry in the full list of documents will bring up a password dialog box. Once the correct username and password are entered, the full record for the document will appear on the screen.

  • Each organization will be responsible for editing or deleting any of the records that its members have entered. Any user from the organization responsible for entering the record in the register will be able to edit the information in that specific record. The PASCNET Register will check the password to see if it is associated with a specific organization and provide a link to the editing pages accordingly. No other users will have access to this link.

  • JISC will also have administrative rights to all document records in the PASCNET Document Register, including the rights to delete and revise all entries. JISC will be responsible for maintaining the PASCNET Documents Register.
